Our assembly was about masks and backs  and favourite part of assembly  was sharing  my masks.

My Mask Reflection

Room 7 made to Represent ourselves . What I Enjoyed was Making Masks AND Sharing My mask to the whole school .  I added  whiskers on my mask and beads because I like cats and making things .
What I found difficult is  doing the paper mache and painting and finding stuff .
 Next time I will do is pant a different colour.

What I am enjoying  about this collaborative story is commenting on amother persons story writing with my buddy in Wisconsin, America. It is awesome to meet other person  on the other side of  the world. Next week we are going to use our planning to write the story on google docs.

Growing Crystals

Yesterday I was making crystals.
First Mrs Natusch put sugar into a pot and dissolved it with water. The water is going  to be dried up !!! Then the sugar  is going to turn in to a crystal. Then we are going to eat it YUM!!!

Lime stone and caves

 Lime stone is  made  from  shells and fish skulls and sea eggs  shells.  This   is how  lime  stone  is  made .

1.   shells and fish skulls  get crushed  in layers .

2. the earth moves then the lime stone  comes up then the lime stone  gets eaten away 

Then it turns in to a  cave 

Then stalagmites  grows the  water eats the lime stone  yum yum .

Glow worms life cycle

Glow worms are a worm that glow.

They are pretty. Their lights are bluey green.

I will tell you same facts.

The adult fly lays120 small eggs. Te adult fly  lives for 3 days trying to find a mate tben it lays eggs then its dies.

Waitomo Caves

 Waitomo Caves

Yesterday the middle team and  some of their mums and dads went to Waitomo Caves  on a bus. It took a long time to get there and it was hot as well. I did not feel well. "Yes we are there!" .

First  we went into the Caves and I was brave . I love seeing  the fossils. The glow worms were cool. I loved it and we went on a boat.

Next we had  a snack .

Then we look at the museum.  I  saw our legendary bird, the moa. It was  big. Its eggs were as big as a foot ball. I saw  bugs that live inside the caves like spiders. I don't like spiders  and our possums  and we saw crystals.

Later on  we had lunch .

After that we went in to the lesson room. We learnt  how limestone turns into into caves and about  glow worms and  did you know that glow worms light comes out of their bums.  Then  we went on a bush walk  and I loved it!

One bright night .  I was  camping  with Zoe and poppy we are moving our tint  Suddenly  we fell into a cave. we should sleep where to night we said  . it was still  night time  it shouldn't  be still night  time we said .
then a big  light we followed to the light but suddenlysaw I big red monster  with  a    sring  with the light 

oh no thats not good we said stop the monster  he  HE SAID  I M GOING UP ! he said. 

2014

 Hello my name is Jade.  I have  been  in room 7 for 2 years and now another year.  Room 7 is full of fun. In my class I  have 25 people  in my class.  My teacher,  Mrs N is the fun teacher ever. Mr Freke  is the coolest  principal ever,  he sings and he reads the coolest story.  I  enjoy   maths and reading. SWIMMING is great I love swimming!

2013 Reflction

Today we are searing a reflection for 2013, we are working with room 14 my buddy is Alannah.

My favorite thing this year was camp, it was a very exciting experience and defiantly put me out of my comfort zone. Alannah

My favorite part of this year was room 7’s assembly; I really enjoyed doing the Sid shuffle and singing the party rock song. Jade

What I thought was the most important thing I learnt this year was learning how to sow, how I learnt this was by making sock monkeys and making our Christmas decorations. Alannah

What I thought was the most important thing I learnt this year was learning how to do divided by’s, I learnt this by using the app show me on the IPad. Jade

The most challenging thing was doing speeches and working on specking clearly, but I did really well and got into the finals by practicing at home heaps. Alannah
